Happy 3rd Book Birthday To INTO THE RED

Into the Red was the book that started my Murder Mile series and introduced readers to Rose Marsden. I put her in an impossible situation, then made her life even harder.

Because, obviously, when you’re already heart-broken, homeless, and broke, what you really need is to start finding dead bodies. 🙄

Every book deserves birthday balloons!

Looking back, it’s hard to believe it’s been three years. Since then, Rose has been shot at, threatened, kidnapped, put herself in danger far too many times, and generally demonstrated a complete inability to mind her own business.

And I’ve had the enormous pleasure of hearing from readers who have followed her through all eight books.

So today, I’m raising a virtual glass (and maybe also a real one) to Into the Red. 🥂
